ATS Resume Checker
Paste your resume or upload a PDF / Word (.docx) file – get an ATS score, missing sections, and keyword gaps against any job description.
🔒 Private by design: everything runs in your browser. Your resume is never uploaded, stored, or logged.
The reader loads only when you upload (about 1.7 MB). Scanned-image PDFs have no readable text – export a text PDF instead.
ATS resume questions
What is an ATS resume checker?
An Applicant Tracking System (ATS) parses your resume before a human sees it. This checker scores how well yours parses: contact details, sections, length, bullets, dates, skills – and keyword overlap with the job post.
Which file formats can I check?
Paste resume text directly, or upload a PDF or Word (.docx) file. PDFs are read in your browser; Word files are unzipped and parsed locally. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Is my resume uploaded or stored anywhere?
No. Everything runs in your browser – your resume text never leaves your device. There is no account, no server, and nothing to delete.
What is a good ATS score?
85+ is excellent and ready to submit, 70–84 is good with minor fixes, 50–69 needs work on sections or keywords, and below 50 is at risk of being filtered out before a human reads it.
How do I match my resume to a job description?
Paste the job posting into the job-description box and run the check. You get a keyword coverage percentage plus the exact missing terms to mirror – using the posting's own spellings for skills you genuinely have.
