WhatsApp Media Cleaner

An Android app that scans and cleans WhatsApp media entirely on-device - huge videos, duplicates, blurry photos, screenshots, and old files. Native Kotlin scanning streams progress to a Flutter UI; includes free/Pro tiers with Google Play Billing. Nothing is ever uploaded.

About

I'm an Army Veteran with more than 21 years of service in the Indian Army. During that time I worked as an Electrical Engineer in tank technology - maintaining and troubleshooting armoured fighting vehicle electrical and electronic systems - and later as a technical data analyst handling hundreds and thousands of items of army equipment. That background is where I learned to work with large, high-stakes datasets, keep complex systems running, and stay precise under pressure.

Outside of work I'm a keen multi-sport player - hockey, basketball, handball, volleyball, football, and more. Team sport taught me discipline, coordination, and how to contribute to something bigger than myself.

I'm now a developer and the founder of VelsTech, based in Aundipatti, Theni (Tamil Nadu, India). I work directly with everyone I build for - no outsourcing, no hourly-billing surprises. My focus is AI, local LLMs, and practical software. I work with llama.cpp, GGUF models, ROCm, and AMD GPUs, and build apps with Flutter, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also explore MCP integrations and AI developer tooling, with a bias toward performance optimization.

My approach is simple: pick the simplest tool that solves the real problem, test it on real hardware, and explain it in plain language. That shows up in the free tools, the benchmark database, and the guides across this site. My working motto: Build. Optimize. Automate.
