Updated 5 November 2026: the earlier rupee prices were estimates, not verified current offers. We have withdrawn the fixed-price rankings and the RX 6800M desktop-card recommendation.

Choose the workload before the card

For a ₹50,000 GPU budget, first choose your model, quantization, context length and application. Compare written, tax-inclusive quotes for cards that support that setup. A lower price is useful only if the model fits and the software runs reliably.

Start by testing a small model on the computer you already own. Record memory use and generation speed on your actual prompts. This gives you a reason to upgrade and a performance target to ask a seller to demonstrate.

Check the exact product and software

The RTX 5060 Ti comes in 8 GB and 16 GB versions. It is an example to compare against older cards, not a confirmed sub-₹50,000 offer. Do not substitute the 8 GB version in a quotation for the 16 GB model.

AMD identifies the RX 6800M as a notebook GPU. Our laptop benchmarks do not establish that a used desktop listing is compatible, supported or good value. Check the board's identity, power requirements and warranty before considering unusual conversions.

AMD compatibility depends on GPU, operating system, driver and application. Consult the ROCm support documentation for the version you will use. Community success with one build does not mean every framework supports the card.

Budget for the whole model

Approximate raw weight storage is parameters × bits per weight ÷ 8. For example, 14 billion weights at exactly four bits need about 7 GB before quantization metadata, KV cache and runtime buffers. Real formats use mixed precision and overhead. A model name or VRAM capacity alone cannot guarantee a fit.

Use the VRAM calculator as an estimate, then confirm with the exact model file and target context. Include any PSU, cooling or system-memory upgrades in your budget. For used cards, ask for an invoice, return terms and a sustained memory test. Buy after comparing current local quotes; this page does not claim a single cheapest card.
